ONIONs utvalg av garn med organiske fibre består av 100% naturlige fibre, hvor minst én av fibrene er organisk. Konvensjonell bomullsdyrkning er en av de mest kjemikalieintensive landbruksavlingene. I tillegg til å forurense miljøet, er kjemikaliene ofte livsfarlige for arbeiderne og forblir i de derdige tekstilene. Derfor legger vi stor vekt på økologi i våre bomullsfibre.

Alle ONIONKnit-garn produseres i Europa på et italiensk spinneri av høy kvalitet.

Addi er et tysk familieeid selskap som ble grunnlagt i 1829 og som produserer strikkepinner og strikkeutstyr. Selskapet produserer fortsatt nesten alle sine produkter i Tyskland og er en pålidelig leverandør av strikkeutstyr av høy kvalitet. Selskapet er spesielt kjent for sine strikkepinner i metall, men produserer i dag praktisk talt alt innen strikke- og hekletilbehør. Permin har solgt Addis produkter siden 2917.

Madeira

Madeira er en familieeid konsern med hovedkontor i Tyskland, etablert i 1919 under navnet Burkhardt & Schmidt. I dag er Madeira særlig kjent for sine metalltråder, som brukes både til strikking og brodering. Permin har solgt Madeira-produkter siden 2009.
